Matlen Silver has begun Phase 3 of a workflow project supporting the
R&D efforts of world-wide oncology research for a major
pharmaceutical firm. This phase involves providing oversight of the
client's offshore development partner on behalf of the business
owner. It will also include supporting the client's preparation for
User Acceptance Testing when the code is delivered.

Matlen Silver has been awarded a project by a large equities
brokerage firm to support the conversion of 200 Windows and Linux
servers to VMWare. This conversion covers the majority of their
development and test environments and will be run off-hours to
minimize the impact on their software developers. Work is expected
to last two months.

to Support Backups to Amazon S3.

key lending risk application for a major brokerage institution. All
development will be done using Cobol, DB2 and CICS and is expected
to be completed by Q1 2010.

application for a major brokerage institution. The primary task is
to perform system and integration testing of integrated applications
migrated onto the client's platforms and products.

Matlen Silver has been brought in to enhance an existing system for
a major brokerage institution. This phase involved enhancing the
User Interface, Database, Web services and Reporting changes by
coordinating with onshore and offshore teams to test and address all
reported defects and issues.
Aug 09 - A
major brokerage institution has awarded Matlen Silver a contract for
development of a Cognos reporting system for their Global Wealth
Management division. Work will be conducted at the client's site as
well as at Matlen Silver's Bridgewater facility. The project is
expected to run through Q1 2010.

Docs.

Matlen Silver has just renewed its contract with a US Pharmaceutical
firm to provide technical support for their laboratory network and
LIMS systems at their facilities in Long Island, in New York. The
contract includes routine maintenance as well as support of major IT
initiatives supporting the labs.
June 09 - The
Clinical Quality Assurance division of a major pharmaceutical has
awarded Matlen Silver a contract to automate their vendor feedback
process. The client was comfortable working with Excel and wanted to
stay with this platform. Therefore, Matlen Silver provided an
automated workflow via Excel Macros and Extensions.

Matlen Silver has begun Phase 2 of a workflow project supporting the
R&D efforts of world-wide oncology research for a major
pharmaceutical firm. This phase involves finalizing detailed
technical specifications for competitive bid by the client's
offshore development partners.

Matlen Silver has entered in to an agreement with a global
pharmaceutical firm for validation of the next three releases of
their sample tracking system. Matlen Silver's Software Quality
practice will be performing the work in their Bridgewater facility
which is expected to run through the fall of 2009.

Matlen Silver has been awarded a contract from a NJ Health Insurance
firm to completely restructure their Provider database and the
associated workflows and interfaces. This database lies at the heart
of core insurance operations and is used for most major functions
from physician enrollment through claims processing and state
reporting. This award follows successful completion of a "Phase 0"
exercise which created the framework for this new system
architecture. This project will have at least 5 phases and will run
through the end of 2009.
