Jim De Silver | President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Jim has served as Matlen Silver’s CEO since he co-founded the company in 1980. Jim began his career in computer operations; in 1967, he moved into programming within the banking industry. Over the next dozen years, Jim continued technical work and was involved in a number of hardware and software projects across vertical industries. Before joining Matlen Silver, Jim was a Senior Manager at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey with full responsibility for their On-Line Technical Service Groups and supporting a large-scale, on-line terminal network. Jim is a graduate of ECPI and majored in Business Administration at Midwestern College.

Michael J. Chirichella | Executive Vice President (EVP)

Michael has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, specializing in teleprocessing and telecommunications. Michael began his career in the banking industry in 1967. His technical career included managing projects in the banking, brokerage, insurance, publishing, health care, and manufacturing industries. Prior to co-founding Matlen Silver, Michael was the Director of Application Development for Bradford National Computer Services, Inc.. Here, Michael had full responsibility for the development and support of all software products, which included an on-line real-time application called TOPS (Trust On-line Processing System), which automated a bank's Personal Trust department. Michael majored in Business Administration at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Michael Corley | Chief Operating Officer

Michael is the Managing Director for Matlen Silver’s branch operations and is responsible for managing Sales, Recruiting, and Administrative operations across four branch offices. In addition, Michael is actively engaged in setting and executing the firm’s business strategy, as well as working with the solutions group to expand Matlen Silver’s business. Prior to joining Matlen Silver, Michael held various positions within the IT Professional Services industry, including Technical Recruiter and Account Executive. Throughout his tenure with Matlen Silver, Michael has progressed from Account Executive to the National Account Manager for the firm’s largest client and the founder of a Software Quality Assurance practice.

David Munn | Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

David is responsible for the design and implementation of Matlen Silver’s IT Solutions and designing solutions for Matlen Silver clients. David also oversees Matlen Silver’s solution engagements. David has been instrumental in creating and managing the delivery of Matlen Silver’s Infrastructure Solutions offerings, as well as our Offshore Strategy. Prior to joining Matlen Silver, David consulted for IBM Global Services and for the Securities Industries Automation Corporation (SIAC), where he supported various systems and network management solutions. David started his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in Piscataway, New Jersey, and has a wide range of experience with IT services management, application development, and other IT solutions. David holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.

Ron Touretzky | Managing Director of IT Solutions

Ron is a Managing Director and is responsible for pre-sales support and delivery of Matlen Silver’s application solutions. Ron has an extensive background in applications development, project management, IT infrastructure, and systems operations. Ron’s diverse experience includes supporting projects within the financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and manufacturing industries. Ron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has over 25 years of professional IT experience.
